Welcome to Brooklyn Fork & Spoon!

Over the past 5 years, we’ve been on quite the journey as roommates, co-workers, catering partners, supper club hosts, cat moms, and best friends. We’ve created recipes we love as we’ve learned to navigate around kitchens together. We’ve argued, we’ve supported one another, we’ve broken down completely, we’ve laughed until our stomachs hurt, and we’ve cooked at Julia Child’s house. We’ve started projects and ended projects, we’ve faced incredible stresses, have learned from everything, and are still figuring some things out. 

All of this has led us here, to this blog. After moving to a new, very peaceful apartment with a big kitchen, we’ve both decided to slow down a bit and enjoy time doing what we love most – cooking at home for ourselves, each other, and our friends. We’re combining our cooking styles and sharing our recipes, our sort-of recipes, our vegan, gluten-free dishes, our meat-lover meals, the good times, and the bad moments, our successes, and mistakes.  We hope you’ll come along for the ride!
